Aboundi Electric Connect Solution provides the MDU networking solution that utilizing the existing networking infrastructure to enable ubiquitous triple play and fulfill users’ demands of high-speed network for multimedia and entertainment distribution of HDTV, SDTV and other digital multimedia content. The Electric Connect solution enables high speed Ethernet packets to traverse over many different transmission mediums, i.e. voice grade twisted wires, coaxial cables and in-premise electrical wirings; hence, complementing the existing structured wiring such as with CAT5/6, fiber networking infrastructure deployment challenges cost effectively. This dramatically reduces the cost of installing new systems and adding terminals to existing systems.
In addition to the monetary savings, the Electric Connect reduces the time and labor required to network a system (lower Total Cost of Ownership). When you deploy high-speed network in the multiple-dwelling units (MDUs) such as apartment building, school, hospital, hotel etc, you won’t need to cut through sheetrock laboriously to rewire cable wiring inside the MDUs.
